Albert Jake, born in 1959 in Ramah, New Mexico, is a distinguished Navajo silversmith renowned for his traditional jewelry creations. Growing up in a large family, he has one older brother, three older sisters, and three younger sisters. After completing high school in 1978, he initially pursued sandpainting and drawing, which provided income for several years. He learned the art of silversmithing from his sister Louise and began his professional journey in 1987.
Albert's work is characterized by precise detail, intricate stamp work, and the use of high-quality natural stones. In addition to his silversmithing, he is also a talented potter and sand painter. He resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with his wife and two daughters.
